Polyester Sulphonic Acid Interstitial Nanocomposite Platform for Peroxide Biosensor
نویسندگان
چکیده
A novel enzyme immobilization platform was prepared on a platinum disk working electrode by polymerizing aniline inside the interstitial pores of polyester sulphonic acid sodium salt (PESA). Scanning electron microscopy study showed the formation of homogeneous sulphonated polyaniline (PANI) nanotubes (∼90 nm) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) confirmed that the nanotubes were stable up to 230 °C. The PANI:PESA nanocomposite showed a quasi-reversible redox behaviour in phosphate buffer saline. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized on to this modified electrode for hydrogen peroxide detection. The biosensor gave a sensitivity of 1.33 μA (μM)(-1) and a detection limit of 0.185 μM for H(2)O(2). Stability experiments showed that the biosensor retained more than 64% of its initial sensitivity over four days of storage at 4 °C.

Amperometric Glucose Biosensor Based on Integration of Glucose Oxidase with Palladium Nanoparticles/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite
We report on a new type of amperometric glucose biosensor that was made by integration of glucose oxidase (GOD) with palladium nanoparticles/reduce graphene oxide (Pd/RGO) nanocomposite. The Pd/RGO was prepared by a onestep reduction method in which the palladium nanoparticles and the reduced graphene oxide (RGO) were simultaneously accomplished from the reduction of dispersed solution of PdCl2...
متن کاملGlucose biosensor based on immobilization of glucose oxidase in platinum nanoparticles/graphene/chitosan nanocomposite film.
The bionanocomposite film consisting of glucose oxidase/Pt/functional graphene sheets/chitosan (GOD/Pt/FGS/chitosan) for glucose sensing is described. With the electrocatalytic synergy of FGS and Pt nanoparticles to hydrogen peroxide, a sensitive biosensor with a detection limit of 0.6 microM glucose was achieved. The biosensor also has good reproducibility, long-term stability and negligible i...
متن کاملPoly(lactic acid)/Carbon Nanotube Fibers as Novel Platforms for Glucose Biosensors
The focus of this paper is the development and investigation of properties of new nanostructured architecture for biosensors applications. Highly porous nanocomposite fibers were developed for use as active materials in biosensors. The nanocomposites comprised poly(lactic acid)(PLA)/multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) fibers obtained via solution-blow spinning onto indium tin oxide (ITO) elect...

The large-scale fabrication of nanocomposite based biosensors is always a challenge in the technology commercialization from laboratory to industry. In order to address this issue, we have designed a facile chemical method of fabricated nanocomposite ink applied to the screen-printed biosensor chip. This ink can be derived in the water through the in-situ growth of Prussian blue nanocubes (PBNC...
